A punctured tyre in Qatar happens more often here than in most countries — the combination of active construction sites, desert sand bringing nails and debris onto roads, and high-speed speed bumps creates more tyre hazards per kilometre than most drivers are used to. Here is exactly what to do.
Flat tyre? Call +974 3122 2041 — mobile tyre repair across Qatar, 24/7.
What to Do When You Get a Puncture
- Do not brake suddenly — ease off the accelerator and grip the steering wheel firmly
- Indicate and move to the left, away from traffic
- Get fully off the road onto the hard shoulder or a parking area
- Hazard lights on, engine off, handbrake engaged
- Do not attempt to drive on a flat tyre — even 100 metres can destroy the tyre and rim
- Call Saaed Service or fit your spare wheel if you have the tools and space to do so safely
Mobile Tyre Repair — What Is Included
- Inspection to determine repair vs replacement
- Plug or patch repair for repairable punctures — 15–20 minutes
- Spare wheel fitting if you prefer to repair the flat later
- Tyre pressure check on all four remaining tyres
- New tyre delivery and fitting if the punctured tyre is beyond repair
Can Every Puncture Be Repaired?
Approximately 60% of the punctures we attend are repairable. A clean nail or screw in the tread area can be plugged or patched safely. Sidewall damage, large holes, or tyres driven flat for any distance cannot be repaired and must be replaced.
